HALOs are specially trained professionals who are there to support you in accessing St. Helen’s Local Offer Website for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They are easily identifiable as they will be wearing a special lanyard.
Here in St. Helens we understand that we have a responsibility to make the Local Offer website accessible to everyone. For some, it may be difficult to access a computer or the internet, whilst others may prefer to meet face to face with someone to access the information they need. We also know that good relationships are vital in feeling valued and supported. We have therefore begun to train a range of professionals from all different agencies as HALOs.
You will find HALOs at the following locations - Look for the HALO lanyard
